Nili is a barrister with over 14 years of litigation experience spanning both public and private sectors, including international work at the International Criminal Tribunal in The Hague, the Netherlands.
She has extensive experience representing plaintiffs and defendants in personal injury matters including CTP, public liability, medical negligence and historical abuse claims.
Her particular passion and expertise is in the area of historical abuse claims involving various institutions including Government Departments. She has represented numerous plaintiffs in complex claims against institutions for emotional, physical and sexual abuse. Her aim is to seek justice for survivors of abuse.
Immediately prior to being called to the Bar in 2017, Nili was the Legal Services Manager at the NSW Government Department of Communities and Justice specialising in historical abuse claims, international kidnapping matters and coronial inquests.
She has given CPD seminars on coronial law at the UNSW CLE programs and historical abuse law at LegalWise Seminars.
Nili has taught Advocacy, Ethics and Civil Litigation at the College of Law as an Adjunct Lecturer.
